My Mazda mx6 has a small oil leak at the right front under the engine where it leaks drops very slowly.

Its the v6, 24 valve, 2.5 litre 1995 model.

I'm thinking its the valve/cam-cover gaskets or oil-pressure sender but I'm no expert.

Anyone with expertise let me know thanks.

How much do you think it'll cost to get repaired etc.

Thanks

yeah it sounds like the OPSU i got one from mazda for like $20 bucks, but im not even using it anymore because i installed the sending unit for my oil pressure gauge in its place.

its located above the oil filter and under the furthest left exhaust bank and will have a little wire attached to it.

I hate this thread to sound like a broken record but...
Check the oil pressure sending unit. The stock ones are complete crap. I swapped mine out with an oil filter relocation kit and have had nothing but great success with it ever since.
Best of luck.

sorry to bump an old thread. I just purchased an auto meter oil pressure gauge. It came with the gauge, some tubing, and only one fitting on the tubing.

What parts would i need to install this on my 93 626 V6 ATX. I know it has to go where the OPSU is currently. Just unclear of what else is needed.

Thanks!

JACK.
