I am hooking up an aftermarket oil pressure gauge and the sending unit for the gauge screws into where the oil pressure switch is right now. Does anybody know if the engine will run without the pressure switch or will i have to make a t fitting so both the sender for the gauge and the pressure switch are both installed- anyhelp appreciated

Ummm....I'm pretty sure that there is nothing that keeps the engine running w/o the oil pressure switch. if so about half the mazdas out there would be in the shop more because they are notorious for blowing up thier switches. btw, I really want an oil pressure gauge, where did you get yours? I hate not having one.

I bought three of those white faced 2 1/16 Autolite Phantom gauges and mounted them in space where what is the ashtray
I got a volts one, air/fuel, and oil pressure gauge. It looks really good but i guess i got to get a t fitting now so i can add that oil pressure gauge sender.
