I WAS JUST WONDER I HAVE A 1994 MAZDA MX6 LS AND I WANTED TO KNOW IF THE ORIGINAL TIRES WHERE FIRESTONE? BECASUE THOSE ARE THE TIRES I BOUGHT IT WITH LAST YEAR. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF FIRESTONE IS THE ORIGINAL TIRES?

I think the orginial tires are bridgestone Potenza RE92, 205/55 R15 (those were the stock tires on my 93 MX-6 LS.) I'm pretty sure Firestone is owned by Bridgestone. SO maybe they have a tire similiar to the Potenza.

Yep, Bridgestone Potenza

I haven't heard of any recalls on these, but the tires were not very good for performance. I can REALLY see the difference between those stock Bridgestones and my new Toyo FZ-4's-- less time spinning and more time going! The Bridgestones were especially poor on wet pavement. But, yes, they're the stock ones.
