Does anyone have any feedback about Osaka Motors that is in Quebec? I want to puchase the klze from them but I want to be 100% positive that it is the klze and not a fake. So I want to know if anyone has purchased and have one of there engines running in your car. So can you please get back to me and let me know how everything went. And or can you tell me any other places that are cheaper than them. They have the complete kit for $1200, not sure everything that comes with it but it does come with tranny. Please get back to me.

You know dude, if you search around there's of info on this site. I see by your reg. date you're no newbie here. Anyway, page 4 or 5 of the KLZE FAQ has a list of places that sell em. I got mine from Noyan for less then that shipped.
Unless you need a tranny I don't know why that would be a selling point. The jspec tranny is no different. Unless its the LSD, which I'm sure they'd mention were it. Plenty of the places willprice match so it's worth calling around a few times and getting lower and lower qoutes until you find something decent. And also think shipping charges. I found a ZE in Canada far cheaper then mine from Noyan, but shipping was more then the engine..... And a decent rep. may be worth the extra green. Frankly, even with a warranty replacing engines several times would suck. And would be expensive if you're not doing it yourself.

I JUST ORDERED MINE FROM THERE

i just ordered my JDM KLZE from Osaka in canada. it is goin to be shipped on Mon. I should have it by wed. I will keep yens updated on the engine. Mine came out to be $900 shipped to PA. That beat any place i checked and they had good customer service so far. Got a phone call and everything.

Warning about Osaka

Yeah I ordered a ZE from Osaka about 9 months ago. Price I paid was the best I could get in Canada, but everytime I called I got shuffled around to another salesman (each one spoke worse English than the last). Make sure you specify that you want the V6, because I constantly called and they kept getting confused about the different engines they had. I was getting really pissed off but I needed the engine badly!

Once engine arrived... things went bad....

1. Theey quoted me only something like 150$ to ship to me (I live in Ontario and they are located in Quebec). But once it arrived the shipping company charged me another 300$ on top of the original shipping quote. Since I had it shipped to my Mechanics garage, I had to RUSH over there to pay the extra money once it arrived.

2. My mechanic said it looks like the engine had rolled over in the back of the transport truck. The Disty was cracked and the oil sending unit (I believe) was broken too. Another couple of $$ on top I had to pay.

3. And finally once It had arrived and was removed off of the truck it looked like the engine had about 150000 kms on it as opposed to the 30 000 they said it did.

Overall I was quite pissed off about the way I was treated by this company on the phone as well as the extra qshipping cost.

Also I did not EVER recieve a reciept for the motor, Even after calling and giving them several fax numbers to fax it to. They kept giving me the run a round saying that it must be my fax machine not thiers. I finally gave up after my 90 day warranty was up anyways.


Overall, I am happy with the ZE, luckily I had my credit card when i purchased it becuase I ended up needing quite a bit of extra cash later in the deal.

I warn you all now when dsealing with them, EXPECT TO PAY EXTRA HIDDEN FEES.

I just installed my KLZE from Osaka JDM Motors about a month ago. I had NO problems at all. I was surprised to receive a KLZE with the Eunos IM on it, but other than that, no problems at all. I paid $650 US plus $300 to ship all the way down to Tampa, FL. I resealed the motor (replaced all gaskets but the head gaskets), and the internals on the motor looked like brand new! I am a Mazda Technician at Fermain Mazda in Tampa, FL. I drive a 95 626 ES. I HIGHLY recommend Osaka based solely on my experience. I ordered my motor late on a Friday evening, it was at the dealership the following Wednesday before lunch! I had it up and running Friday night.
