I thought I would share some info with you guys. My car started to overheat so I decided to take it in to a shop. Without getting into to much detail, I had to change the thermostat, waterpump, rad and headgasket. I know this is a lot. Apparently the previous owner used water instead of antifreeze which caused an incredible amount of rust to build up in the cooling system. It spread throughout the entire system leaving huge chunks of debris throughout the system. I paid $1100.00 canadian to get it all fixed. That sound reasonable? Driving my car after the repairs I noticed a whole bunch of improvements. The irratic idling disappeared and it drives nicely. Thought I would share that with you guys.
