I have an 88 mx6 that is Sunrise Red. I don't have the paint code on my doors anymore, but was wondering if anyone had it.
I am doing some body work etc and need the exact color matched.
Thanks for any help!!

i bought a litre of sunrise red - had it made from the paint code - DON'T DO IT!!!

your car fades and its not even a close match - especially red...

take off your fuel filler flap and take it to your nearst paint and panel supply shop - and get it colourmatched...

its the only way to do it properly and accuratly

Thanks for the help,
I was going to get the color code, then bring that to the store and pick something that is close, but a litle more of an orange tint to it, or closer to a candy apple red. I know our cars fade pretty bad though.
I would bring out some paint chips beside my car and match from their.
Do you have the paint code anyways?
Thanks!

i don't hav the paint code sorry...

but trust me - just take ur filler flap off and drop it in - get them to colour match as much as you need - at least the colour is right - don't try eyeballing it by colour chips

I know in a 1st gen the paint code is on the firewall near the master cylinder. It's a number/letter system like 1F.
