I was bored and wanted a new gadget for the PC in the bedroom... So I bought a PC remote control from www.aria.co.uk

It's actually made by Shuttle, who do the small mini PC's but it works with any version of XP.

It's just plug and play via USB and I believe it emulates some of the functions on a keyboard. It's even got a round disc that emulates the mouse.

Now I can relax in bed of a night and not have to keep getting up to operate the PC when I want to watch a DVD... No more getting up to play the next ep of a show, or pause/rewind/fast forward.

Price was around £20, but money well spent as far as I'm concerned.

Heckler - you lazy bugger, but seeing that it is winter there by u guys not a bad idea. Now u need a robot to bring the hot choc to u'r bedside then u'll be sorted mate.

Money well spent indeed, wish i'd thought of that last year when I had a PC in my bedroom. Might have to move it back upstairs just for the joy of remote PC opperation.
