would a 1st gen 2.2 n/a benifit from these? i did a search on probetalk and the only thing that came back was for the 3.0 v-6. i am not to familiar with them and i may sound like an idiot, sorry if i do. but dont the spacers seperate the intake away from the rest of the engine allowing the intake to stay cooler, thus producing more power?

Yes it would be great for our engines. Unfortunately, no one has made them yet.

Adaptor plates for pod filters

hi, i actually bought a HKS pod style filter for my car and was intending to fit it in, when my mechanic said it would be better to put in KNN filters in the existing airbox than custom make an adaptor kit to fit the pod. he said it would spoil the mass air sensor thing that is connected to the airbox becos of engine movements. does anybody have any problems with faulty sensors or adaptors after fitment? also, is there anybody who noes where to get a prefabricated adaptor plate for pod filters in australia? thanx
