This turbo is an IHI RHO6 and is power in a small package. First off, BRAND NEW RHO6 compressor wheel:



Comparison of the RHO6 wheel and Vj11 wheel:



It looks smaller, but it's actually 37mm rather than 36mm at the impellar.

It measures 56mm outer diameter vs the vj11 and T Bird's 52.50mm:



Impellar measures 37mm vs the vj11's 36mm:



Same height of 22.60mm for both the VJ11 and RHO6:

god damn that roadrunner looks nice whats it got in it, i hope its not a little 318 or 340, 440 perhaps that be sweet, or a good old 426 hemispherical goodness. take some more pics i love old mopar

Continuing on, the RHO6 compressor wheel is a 47 trim because 37^2/56^2*100=47

The vj11 compressor wheel is also a 47 trim because 36^2/52.5^2*100=47

Being that they're the same trim, the RH06 compressor wheel still fits in the vj11 compressor housing:

The Vj11 turbine has an inside diameter of 42.40 mm and an outside diameter of 51.80mm- tip to tip. The turbine would be a .67 because 42.4^2/51.8^2*100=67


The turbine housing on the RHO6 is also a P trim, P9 to be exact. It works out to be .35 A/R on the exhaust side which is pretty small in terms of exhaust housings, however, the turbine is a great deal larger than the VJ11 turbine. My plan is to hone the vj11 exhaust side to fit the RHO6 turbine.

The RH06 turbine measures 57.50mm outer diameter and 45mm inner diameter.

RH06 is 10.50mm while the vj11 is 8mm.





I plan on honing the vj11 exhaust housing to accept the RH06 center cartridge. From info that I have gathered, the RH06 is capable of 30psi and can has been installed on 250+ hp cars. From what I have gathered, it was the OE turbo on the 84-85 XRt4 which is a 2.3

As for that roadrunner. I needed new pants after seeing that. I'd love to know how much that cost him

He didn't say he bought it.

If you read carefully, he said it was in his garage.

While that may, in some cases, amount to the same thing, in others, it may indicate two completely different things.

well if he didn't buy it he should that thing is ill. You cant top old muscle cars like that
