These were installed by Ron at Street Effectz. The stitches match the factory stitching and a pillow fills in the front where there was a hole. This pillow can be removed to access the back of the monitor to adjust it.

If interested, e-mail [email protected] I'll have more pics of them soon when they are installed. Will be running DVD and Dreamcast to them.

The trunk and the rest of the video install is whats going in next. It will be all custom and I will definitely have lots of pics. I'm on spring break next month so hopefully the audio installation will begin then. I'm not sure if I wanna do carpet or vinyl in the trunk...any opinions??

Are you talking about the box? If so, do both. Carpet works good as sound insulation but doesn't look very good. I'd also recommend putting the subs in the floor. I believe the 1st-gen has a well for the spare like the 2nd-gens, so you could rig up a good sized box to fit in there, it would free up a lot of space and look slick too.

Unless the 1st-gen rear seats are a lot roomier than the 2nd-gen, I can't imagine who would want to be back there. Are you getting one of those flip out single-DIN LCD screen/reciever for the front? I would have gotten one of them, those things are soo sweet.

Have you done anything else to your car?

I'm not gonna put the subs in the floor, only because I might sink the amps in the floor under plexiglass. Other than my old audio/video set-up, the only things I've done to the car are 17" twisted tuner rims, lowered, and a flow master exhaust.
Yes, I was talking about a single-din in-dash flip out. BUT, its not gonna be a combination reciever. It's gonna be flush mounted in front of the passenger just for video.
