my driver side automatic window. I did a search but couldn't find anything resembling my problem. Here's the deal. The left window button is limp all of a sudden so my driver side window wont go up or down. I can, however, open and close the passenger side window using the right button on the driver side door and the button on the passenger side door. From this, I'm guessing that the problem is with the left driver side window switch but I may be wrong. Are there two separate fuses for the windows? Is it easy to take off the switch and replace it or fix it? Can this be done without removing the whole door panel?

Thx.

its the window switch, those things are expensive, you have to take the panel off to change it, taking it off is easy, its putting it back on thats hard. atleast in both my 6's the door panels just wont stay on
Thanks. That's what I thought. Why is it so hard to put the panel back on and have it stay on? If it's easy to take off, why is it so hard to put back on? Once you put the screws back on, it should stay on, no?

You need new plastic fasteners. Shouldnt take more then 5 minutes to remove/replace the door panel, and I never had a problem with them falling off. The replacement plastic guys can be picked up at good autoparts stores.
