Anyone have any?
Pics?
Mods?

I just bought 5 that need TLC, got one running about 30 mins ago, can't wait to take it for a spin lol, little choppers they are.

I got two with the big wheels that look like proper motor bike tyres, and 3 with mobility scooter style tyres on them. Roughly a 4.00-5 size tyre.

i rode one ages ago, scared the fuck outta me. soooo unsafe lol, be extra careful with those things man, ive heard of some bad accidents involvin em.
Yeah they look quite wobbly and unstable... probably makes it more fun lol

It's like a 150kg guy riding a kids bike... that's how I see it. Not very balanced. Never ridden on before so I'll give it a shot, I plan on keeping at least one of the big ones. The others I'm planning on flinging off.
I have a few, and some go karts. We ride them around at Phillip Island in the housing estates and in the park. The little dirt bike is so dangerous. If you don't lean forward when you accelerate it will throw you off the bike. It goes good for a 49cc engine!

all I can say is guy I know who had one was caught by police driving on the road in front of his house.
Yet he still went to court - because He was disqulified for 2 years and now he's got another 2years.

I guess first time around he was not DUI it would of been better .

Me and sme friends had little road bikes we rode them on the netball courts, you could lean them over far enough to getthe foot pegs to touch the ground. Since moved on to real bikes lol
Thanks Scott, that link didn't work for me.

What is the law regarding these pocket bikes anyway? I heard if they're below 50cc they're okay... I find that hard to believe.
I took my one for a small squirt up and down my street to test it, it's still a bit of a slug, doesn't feel like the throttle is opening all the way... time for some cable adjustments :D
It sounds like it's at half throttle, if that. Probably hit about 20-30km/h

Here's mine, a little Repsol Honda Motogp bike;

Mutts taking me up the inside into the corner, he's got more lean angle too!

well i got done, not happy.
i went camping out past Moe in the bush, 2 hours drive.
A cop came into the camp site and handed over fines, i got done for no motorbike licence and no rec reg. nearly $1000 in fines. I tried to explain how i drove 2 hours out of the city to ride in the bush, then he went back to his cop 4x4 and got his breathalyzer out, (lucky i wasn't drinking) what a prick.
they hate these pitbikes
What a tight ass!
Maybe he wanted a ride?
This is the one that I'm planning on keeping. Needs fuel lines and respray the plastics/fuel tank. Once that's done, a good go over and then she's running (I hope).

Haha i can picture you riding down the street on that, trying to look all tough like a biker
You actually NEED a licence for these? dont they classify as toys? (like scooters, bikes, etc..) what about mounting a whipper motor to a kids bike?

i think anything that is petrol needs a licence on the road.
So what's the point in them being 49cc? I thought that anything under 50cc was okay, well at least that's what I was told. :/

A few years ago when all there as cruising around was scooters with whipper snipper motors on em that law worked, but when the market was flooded with $300 pocket bikes that can go 50km/h they had to change it! Pretty sure now it doesnt matter what size the engine is, you need a bike licence and recreational reg to ride em.
