My rear defrost and my power antenna don't work. I thought it was just the antenna but we took the one off of my old car that I know works and put it on my new one and now it doesn't work either. Is there a fuse or something that controls these things? Or is it 2 seperate problems?

According to my 1995 electrical manual the 15A METER fuse inside the car is connected to the power antenna and rear window defroster switch. As for the rear defroster itself, there is a 40A fuse labeled DEFOG under the hood.

If the rear window defroster does not operate, possible causes are:

1) Burnt DEFOG 40A fuse
2) Damaged rear window defroster relay
3) Damaged rear window defroster switch
4) Damaged rear window defroster
5) Damaged CPU
6) Open or short circuit in wiring harness
7) Poor connection of connector

If the power antenna does operate, possible causes are:

1) Burnt METER 15A fuse
2) Damaged audio unit
3) Damagaed power antenna
4) Open or short circuit in wiring harness
5) Poor connection of connector

Mine didn't work either, so I opened my dash and discovered when I put in my new deck I forgot to connect the antenna wire. So I connected that, but I blew a fuse (I am a blown fuse magnet). Took a look at the fuses and it was the 15a. Now they both work perfect :)
