I think the cost of it would probably be more than its really worth. Its only a 280zx, not overly rarely or sought after.
Would be better to get a nice straight one and just use that one as parts.

yeah i thought about that but the thing is that this is a Genuine Fairlady Z HGS130-000713 and these are rare in the aspect as that only 3000 where made and thats it a import, plus i got all the jspec goodies @-

To get another one would be good idea but to swap everything i only got a Australian copy of a Fairlady Z. :(

Yeah true, I suppose that is a point. But really only a Z (or well 280zx) enthusiast is really going to know the difference.

It just looks like a lot of $$$$ worth of damage there, like enough to a another decent one requiring a lot less work, not to mention that once a car has been crashed it will never be the same.

A bloke I know recently had some chassis work done on his 260z, took him a long time to find someone to do some work to. No one wanted to touch the chassis stuff.

What you need are car restoration guys and you need ot save cash. If you want it done good. A good palce will cut it down for mfactory seem welds and reweld it so you have no idea that it has either new panels or custom made ones.
I know of places in Sydney they do alot of Valients and classic type cars. It's places like that you want. Any old panel beaer will strighten a chassis but will they do a good job.
Hell you can't tell my Mx-6 behind it's face has mangled bone structure. But on these older cars it needs to be right.

The damge you have looks be around the $3000 mark by my quess and that's going a VG Pacer which had similar damge from a truck. add to that you need to find out if any damage to the frame ETC. If it's out of sqaure it can come back to hurt you if not fixed now.

That's as much as I can help you with.

Yeah ill have to see how things pan out. :) having a good look at it today i virtually need a front cut to cut and re weld onto my chassis to make it work. the raidator support bracket goes all the way across the front and holds the lights and stuff...So i think i might just find another body and do the swap. :)

Might not be a Original Fairlady Z but alot less work then getting mine fixed :) thanks for the input.
