The top and bottom studs are snapped off on the passenger side of car. If I use an Alden drill-out with the manifold in place and if I get the studs out. With new studs in place do you think the gasket will still leak? is it an all metal gasket or a gasket that can blow out over time?

since you are down there alredy it's a good idea to helicoil and install new studs
Yeah I bought a right angle drill adapter and it's still a no go on removing the broken stud with the manifold in place. If I can't extract the broken stud with the manifold off I will probably go with a thread insert from timesert.com
