Low 14's would be a good running 6 GT. But it all depends on RT, tires, engine health, weight reduction, and track conditions. So I have seen #'s from high 16's to high 14's and a few into the 13's but there are a lot of factors to consider. The Mustag should be able to put a severe hurting on you though, unless he has a crapy stang. The factory MX6 GT isn't that great for drag racing. Post your times though. Good luck.

does anyone know what a good running mx6 gt stock runs in a quarter mile..
ive always wondered and have never taken mine to go find out... i know i can keep up with a mustang gt that has a 4.6L in it up to about 60-70 or so and my friend sam clames mustang runs a low 13 with exhaust and intake... which i think is a bunch of BS not to mention how would he know he has only ran a 8th mile and did that in like low 8's high 7's or something:shrug:

a stock mx6 is not going to keep up with mustang gt 99-2004, they are low 14 sec car, unless u have a bolt on and boost controller and chip. you will get beat, you have a better chance beating 96-98gt cause they are high 15sec car which your mx6 is mid-low 15s driver granteddoes anyone know what a good running mx6 gt stock runs in a quarter mile..

x2. Thats what i ran.your mx6 is mid-low 15s driver granted
stock times that were printed in the mag's when they were brand new were from 15.5 down to motor trends 15.2. and thats totally stock.
a stock turbo, and motor with just intake exhaust, and boost controller, and chip can hit high 13's if the car isnt a piece, and the driver is half way decent.
