I was just wondering if when u hit the gas to the floor, is it suppose to be slow moving? The engine revs but it seems slow when i hit the gas all the way to the floor. When I hit it half way, it seems to go faster that all the way. Seems odd but i have learned from here that these cars can be a pain sometimes. Thanks.

Check to make sure your kickdown cable is attached to the throttle body as well.

Some hesitation is normal, especially with the ATX. However, the car's motor may be in need of a tune-up first. As mentioned, try replacing the air & fuel filters for easy stuff. As Swat mentioned the tranny's throttle linkage may be out of adjustment.
Clean the TB, check for v leaks, and pray that your tranny is not going south ! These cars are only as much of a pain as what you let them be. It's just part of any car's aging process and how badly it's been neglected.
