What are those bolts called with that special head on them? I'm disassembling a motor and have not done this before. The FSM is over at the shop so can't look at it now. Is there a special socket that I need for those type of bolts?

Thanks.
Basically, these sort of bolts....

I should probably already know this. (But I don't.)

OK, I feel a bit dumb now since a 12 point socket fits on their perfectly. I guess they are just called pliant type bolts. (stretch bolts)

That's a twelve point bolt, if you're changing the head you'll need new head bolts (according to mazda they're torque once only). You can get them from the dealer for something like fourteen dollars each, but I'd highly recommend ARP head studs, you can get a set for around $120.
