Their is a rattiling noise near the header cover. It just got smogged. Now its making a tin can rattling noise. Its after i rev it up and its coming down on rpms. thats when it makes the noise.

Our MX6s seem to rattle a bit when cold. (I think its a Jap car think) Use 89 gas instead of 87 will help. You may have something loose, and have to remove the cover and check bolts down the header connectors.

Sounds like classic sheet metal vibration. Look for a heat sheild that has broken or come loose.
