I just got my car and was curious about something. When I downshift into 2nd when going around a turn and then accelerate my car begins to sputter. Is this because of possible water in the tank or something else? The car hasn't been driven (with the exception of a few feet) in about a year or so.
Thanks for your help,
Trevis

Sounds to me like something's affecting the vacuum in your fuel lines. Either your fuel filter is clogged, or your pump is going.

I found out what was wrong. After prodding around in the engine. And thanks to my Hanyes Mannual Bible, I dicovered that the fuse and relay in the engine bay controling the fuel pump were shorted out. Needless to say I quicly replaced them and everything is fine now. Thank you.
