I have 50W speakers rear in my car.
Do I have also 50W speakers in the frontdoor or can I have also 40W speakers in there?
Some people said to me that it's better for the balance to have the same watt in the frontdoor en rear.
Is this true?

50 watt should be fine in front. The speakers (magnets, coils) in front are smaller so they will not overpower the rears if that is what you are concerned about.

If you are talking about the stock speakers then do not worry too much.

If you are talking about after market speakers then I personally would go for more powerful front speakers as the rear speakers are really just for a gentle rear fill.

If you are on a budget then certainly spend your money on a good set of front speakers first.

As for power, do not forget that no matter how powerful your speakers claim to be it is the cleanness of the power that you feed them that really matters, beit from the head set or power amps.
