They are different. Not sure how or where but they are. it maybe possible to use 2ws on 4ws but not sure but there are 2 different part numbers showing.

Do not have these in stock but can get for 135 shipped. That is for left and right total 135 shipped. Not just one side.

Autozone lists for 105 each plus 55 core. Plus tax.

AutoZone.com | Shopping | Parts | Product Detail - Brake Caliper - Rear

If you want these let me know. I have an order pending with my caliper supplier. Will have by friday or next monday.

Cables too for 4ws.

4ws calipers fit on 2ws cars but the hand brake cable touches the strut at the bottom.
the mechanism for the hand brake is under an angle made at the caliper where the same mechanism for the 4ws is straight.

how much "touching" is there. it almost looks like i could set up a routing system for the cable to work.

I picked up a set of 4WS rear calipers cheap to put on my 2WS.......

They are different in that the body area/mounts for handbrake around the piston on the 2WS ones is more vertical compared to the more horizontal 4WS ones (probably to clear some steering linkages).

-The right 4WS rear caliper will fit a 2WS with no mods.
-The left 4WS rear caliper will NOT fit a 2WS, but minor mods will make it fit.

The mod needed for the left hand caliper is to remove the mounting plate for the handbrake and shave an angle off it so that it can point down more when you remount it so it will clear the base of the strut(as mentioned above).

The down side to fitting 4WS calipers to a 2WS is that the angle the cable is on from the mounting plate to the lever or arm on the caliper is increased which may cause the cable to rub against itself leading to premature wear....

I took both rear calipers off my 2ws tx5, and put them on my 4ws mx6. It all bolted up right and everything worked fine. I dont see why you couldn't bolt the 4ws calipers into your 2ws car. Only one way to find out.
holy bump batman...

So...2ws to 4ws rear calipers are OK

4ws to 2ws rear calipers need mods to fit correctly...???

i dont know for sure if they interchange to the sedan. i'd assume so, but i've run into weird things with the sedan > coupe fitment.

Rear pads same 4ws/2ws

It sounds like aside from the brake cable arm, they are identical. I'm guessing this means pads are the same for both calipers. Are they?
