SO resently my car has started having the following problems. I get a fast blick on the rear turn signal when the brake is depressed, but it is fine if the break isn't depressed. Using the left run signal takes you out of crouse control just like if you were to tap the breaks. Finally the check engine light comes on every once in awhile for about 10 seconds. It comes on maybe every 60-70 miles, but doesn't stay on for more then just those few seconds.

I assume I have some funky wriring short or something and was curious if anyone had any ideas.

I think you know that the cruise and the blinker problem are related. You have the cruise engauged, use the blinker and the cruise quits. The cruise system thinks the brakes are being applied and shuts down (as it is supposed to). Need to find the short in the blinker system - probably easiest to start looking at the connector in the trunk for the left tail light assy. Your other problem sounds like an oxygen sensor is going bad. With the key in the run position, you can jump the ten and ground pins (in the little black box that says "diagnostic") located just in front of the underhood fusebox. Then, watch your check engine light on the dash and count the long and short flashes. That will give you stored diagnostic trouble codes which in turn will help you figure out what your check engine lite is trying to tell you.
