i need to know if anyone knows what all parts i need to fix my rear suspension. everything back there is rattling around and sounds like it is getting ready to fall apart anytime now. so i need to get it fixed asap. thanks for the help.
I would have to start with the simple things first.
Check what is in your trunk. Is the spare tire secured? Jack? etc...
Try removing all the interior body panels (plastic) to see if it was just the panels rubbing together - they tend to do that after so many years!
Then get into the mechanical stuff.
Struts: Check to see if they are leaking. See if there is a lot of grease on them.
Springs: Check their rebound. Should only bounce once before settling.
My 2 cents,
If you want to replace everything in the rear suspension, that is all well and fine. But, chances are that the root of the problem is with the rear strut's top mount. These are prone to wear and can make the car seem like it's falling apart in the rear end.
