I hava a Mazda 626 1990, I like to rebuilt the engine. The engine take some oil and a lifter make some noise.
The first things I have to do I thing is to but new ring on the cynlinders. What eles I nedd to do ???

And after all this I would like to put a Turbo from a MX-6.
Tell me if it's possible and how to do it!!

Not sure as to what you would need to do, if no one else responds I'm going to move this to the 1st gen maintenance forum, they might be able to help!

being that old you might have to go over sised on your pistons to make it rite. you best grind the crank and do a valve boj and surface on the head sence you have it apart.

Oh, the pistons in the turbos have a biger dish.

Yay! another 1990 626 :)

If you're going to go for a mx-6 turbo, you are probably better off getting the whole engine, including gearbox and the computer from a turbo Mx6, and swapping that in. because there are alot of differences.

if you want to keep your engine, I would go and talk to a garage that can do the work for you, and see how much it will cost.
