How do I remove those two narrow vents that are on top of the dash right by the front window?? The one that are about a foot long each and maybe two or three inches wide. Do they just pop out or do I have to remove the entire dash and unscrew someting from underneath??
Thanks!

They pop out, by prying them with something flat like a screwdriver. But since they sit in the sun all the time, they get brittle, and it is impossible to remove them without detroying them. You have to buy new ones from Mazda. You can get a set for around $15-$17, but act fast becuase there aren't many left. (Only 5 sets of Maroon ones left - I got one of them because my vents were disintegrating.)

Insert a flathead screwdriver into the right side and pry it out. The vent rotates on two little plastic things. I think the left one is round and the other has one side round and the other squared off. This one is much easier to get out.

Hope this helps.
P.S. It may help to unscrew part of the dash to allow for stress.
