Was wondering if anyone has an idea what this is about.

1994 MX6 with automatic

The best way seems to be to gradually increase foot pedal press and rpms. You get a lot of power before
reaching 50 to 60 mph, with rpm around 4,100.

A few times I have pressed the foot pedal down a lot when the car is moving at a slower speed, around 20 mph.
The rpm can shoot way up, say up to 5,500. The car movement does not immediately respond like it does if
you do like the above.

There is no problem with the car or transmission.
