Hey guys, i was wonderin what is the RPM needle at when the car is warm, mine was at 500, and when i changed the gauges its at 750 now, where does the needle supposed to be when the car heats up?
Another question is about oil, when do u check the oil? when the car warms up? sometimes when i check the oil when the car its cold, it shows full and sometime half full, its weird.

it will be msot accurate when the oil has returned to the pan.. when its bone cold youre assured of most of it being in the pan... except when its really cold outside ;)

i dont get a "full" reading when its warm unless i leave the engine off for a good 1/2 hour or so before...

i usually get my full reading when the car is cold..

Completely true, and really is a good thing. Means oil is hanging around on all those cams and gears and HLAs and such :)
