Just bought a 94 LS MTX and now I'm looking for a shop manual - is the original Mazda one still available? Is the Haynes any good for this chassis? Anything else out there that is worth having? Looking for something more specific than the generic Chiltons.

Thanks,
Ron

Whenever I need something done I use the Chilton and it has given me the necessary information...

go to Wal-mart and pick up the Chilton.
Don't bother with the Haynes, it's a piece of crap....

CHILTON...... it's worth it, trust me!!

If you can't find it in Chilton, just buy one off eBay instead, it might be cheaper.

The occasional factory manual comes up on ebay every now and then too. I'm not sure if you can still get them from Mazda or not, but if you can I'd imagine it isn't cheap. I paid $23 for mine...
The factory manual is very thorough, but does have its disadvantages--for example they'll assume you have Special Service Tool number XX, and of course, you probably don't. I have the Haynes manual too, and as crappy as it is, sometimes it is a little more straight forward.
