Jsut cutting your own copper headgasket is not that easy. You are supposed to heat it up and cool it down during the process. I have a friend who does this kinda stuff for a living. He said it is a seriuos process to do it right, and I believe him.I've seen his work and trust what he says. I will have him make my headgasket when I need it. That way I know it will be right.
