So I have been in the market for a car in the $7k range. I found a 93 mx6 with the 2.5l, manual and with 93k miles for $3k. Seems in decent shape inside and out. Maybe 7/10. This is way cheaper than i was expecting to spend. I dont know a lot about these but I like how it looks. Are they maintenance disasters? opinions or help is appreciated.

I have a 93 with 98k miles, i purchased mine for 1750, but there is a little bit of rust on minor places, radio/speakers do not work, and I had to spend around 600~ to fix the brakes (booster, pads, rotors, hoses) The owner before also replaced the brake master cylinder and reservoir. If you are in the 7k range that is plenty enough extra to customize it yourself and fix some of the basic maintenance from its years of wear. I love mine, 5s manual ls 2.5 v6, nice and zippy. Make sure the transmission and engine are in very solid condition, and if so i'd go ahead if you want :p

(Parts might b kind of annoying, be aware she is a nearly 27 year old japanese import, but they are available.)
