You an auto, he is an auto...im gonna say you barely win... but im not entirely sure, it's gonna be a slow race... :) atx vs atx :urg:

horsepower is just a number, do go getting all frizzled because you has less HP then you. look at the TQ numbers, the weight of each vehicle and you can make an educated guess from there.

It doesnt matter how much HP you have. its how its used. 115 hp.. like some of our n/a 1g cars... isnt the same as 115hp on a motorcycle... but why is the bike faster.... BECAUSE IT WEIGHS LESS

so look up the stats and with all things equal... you should be able to figure it out

also checking the 0-60 times wouldnt hurt either

I'm betting on the Jetta because it *looks* lighter, they're both automatics, and the Jetta is newer (so less power lost due to age / wear).

But really, shouldn't even consider it a race when it's between two 16 second vehicles.

I wonder what a Altima SE-R would run with a good driver.

not much of a difference to the 3.5, it only has bout 5 horses more but its a little heavier. it just has more sportier styling.

How much power did that give?

btw, if your 2g is running at decently, you'll creep by the VW jetta...they weight in at 3285 and only have 150hp (~130ish at the wheels; you, 2623 lbs and 164hp (~140ish at the wheels)

so 600lbs lighter, drivers being equal weight and roughly 10+ horsepower at the wheels...BUT, they have 170 to your 160ft lbs of torque...

None...but they aren't slow IMO. handling is fairly decent as well.
