i guess you didn't see any of my threads a month or 2 ago....
i bought "Wayman's" car
Wayman's car started ticking an hour after i picked it up.
Wayman's car threw a rod the next day.
Wayman denied responsibility but told me he would help fix it.
Haven't been able to get a hold of the ****head since.
in spite of how much people on here "loved" him because he had one of the nicer more modified 1st gens, he is a worthless piece of ****.
I'll post my .02 before this thread gets closed. I dont believe a rod throws itself. These are damn strong motors, it would take either high revs (like past 6.5K) or very high power to break one. You dont just drive down the road and ploop, a rod falls out. Sorry.
The only thing I might believe is if the head gasket blew and hydrolocked the motor. However, those pistons do not show signs of a head gasket blowing.
Man, you still haven't gotten over this? Another member Loktai, bought a GT ahwile back and his engine just blew. I didn't see him complaining about the previous owner. If you bought it from a dealership you'd have every right to b*tch, but y'know private sales work like this. Sometimes you just can't win.
