ok, i have had my car up to 120 mph or so, where it shuts off.. due to the governor. now, i know 120 is damn fast... but i'm not really too close to the redline when i hit it, and i know my car can go faster. is there any way for me to remove the top speed governor while still retaining the rev limiter? ( i have been known to occasionaly miss a gear, so the rev limiter seems like a good idea to keep.)

removing the top speed limiter is a computer problem. You might want to check out the AutoThority computer chip site. Their chips can really benefit your car so that it runs at optimal levels. I am going to purchase one soon.
