I couldnt take it any longer. My seat has been sqeeking for awhile now and i decided it was time to fix it. So first i took the seat out and laid it on the ground. Then i rocked back in forth in it and located the squeek. It turned out to be very easy to fix. On the lever that is turned to move the seat forward and back is a wire that runs to the opposite side. The wire is closed on either end with a spring. Its a bit of a shaky deal. Now what i found was that the spring was rubbing against the wire. So it is metal on metal. All i did to fix it was remove the spring, wrap the ends of the wire in electrical tape and instead of putting the springs back on i closed the wire with tape. Well that was 4 days ago and i have not heard from that squeek again!!

I don't know if it's bad, but I had that problem and I sprayed it with WD40 and it hasn't squeeked for the past year or so.
