Ok, this is my situation:

  • Battery is relocated to the trunk, a yellow top, 2 guage wiring to a distribution block up with wiring going to the fuse box and starter.
  • New reman. starter.
  • Alternator is still old, have a big sound system.
I charge the battery overnight, at 10 amps, and then put a new starter in. It starts but it hesitates. If I leave the car for like 8-10 hours or overnight, it is very hard to start.

I have a Vector batter charger with a alternator check. I hook it up to the battery in the trunk and start the car and do the alternator check. It says fault, but there is no charge light in the dash or anything. Any ideas?

I miss my car!
