i was looking for front and rear strut bars on ebay. the prob is that im looking for them for a v6. all i can find are for the i4's. does it matter. is there any difference between the engine...i.e. clearance or something that makes it difficult to use them.

They are all the same for the V6 or I4.

Be warnn though that some are not made as good as other. The OBX are of round tubing and mounts awfully close to the manifold. The BomBz are made alot better if you can find them, it uses a rectangular with curved small ends so it is quite a bit stiffer and abut 3 times wider than the OBX. Not to mention it clears the manifold alot better. The only problem is that your stock heatcover on the hood will hit and causes your left side front hood to lift about 1/8" until the mat is properly flatten by the bar.
