Does the pilot bearing get pressed into the flywheel or the crankshaft in a f2t?

If I remember right it is inserted into the end of the crankshaft. You will need a puller to get the old one out (can be rented from an auto parts store), and the new one can be inserted with a large socket and hammer.

The bearing is pressed into the crankshaft like Sincity said, and the correct way to remove it is with a puller, however if you're cheap and lazy like me you can use balled up wet toilet paper to get it out. stuff as much as possible through the bearing hole and then use a socket or other round object to compress it with a hammer. The force will push it out eventually.
