The clicking usually indicates that the nylon gear on the motor has cracked a tooth. Of course the gear is non-replacable, the only one you can't replace by the way. Try lubing the rails to see if it stops it. If it doesn't you'll need to get a new one, just don't go to a dealer for it. Try people who are parting out there Probe or MX-6 or try the junkyards. I got mine from a Probe that was being parted out and it has worked fine for 2 years so far.
