guys, i aint been on in a while, and i just read that post about the guy who beat a mustang gt. yes, not likely, but it is possible. not as bad as he said, but it is possible seein as ive done it. anyways, here is a list of all the cars i can remember racing. wins losses, whatever, and how bad i won or lost by

First race ever was a 00 cougar. beat him by bout 7 cars
after that there is no specific order
sentra ser spec v 1.5 cars
civics up the ass, only lost to 1 cause i missed 2nd
lost to a 5.0 mustang by a car
beat a 5.0 lx auto by bout the same
lost to a 5 speed 4.6 mustang by 3 cars
beat a 4.6 auto by a half car
beat a eclipse rs by a lot
beat a eclipse gst, auto, by 2 cars
lost to a 1st gen eclipse turbo by a few cars
beat a storm
at this point im sick of typing how many car lengths so im just gunna tell u the cars.

I searched really hard and found a bunch of excuses as to why you couldn't post the slips.

I also found a long list of posts about your magical fairy dust powered stock I4 that could beat cars in the mid 14 second range.

I don't think anyone is busting the 2.0. The engine was not made to be fast, and most people realize that (most). What we are "busting" is stories like this, with no proof to back it up, where a 16-17 second car is beating cars that should be running 14s. There are possibilities of the other car missing a gear, or not actually racing, even though you think they are, etc. But when people just post how they "killed an mgt" with a basically stock 2.0 mx6, of course we're gonna call bs.

i don't remember you posting slips to for a 15.2 run either in your basically stock I4.

It is hard to believe a 16/17 sec car can beat a low 14s car. That would be like saying a Hummer took you in a race!!! I'd find it hard to believe when they do 0-60 in almost 20sec!!!

basically stock kl03's run maybe a 15.2 sometimes better sometimes worse...how in the hell did u make ur i4 "basically stock" do a 15.2....i mean yes when i fill my gas tank with bull**it it does 13.4's but then again it's the kl03...but how do u do it

I would like to say That It is beliveable that he beat some of those cars.Especially the auto gst becaust I beat one also with my 2.0.As far as the 15.2 run nearly stock I say no way. I belive my 2.0 is pretty fast compared to other 2.0's and I can only manage a best of 16.2 so far. Going to the track the first fri of next mounth so hopefully that will change also.But I dont think I will gain a second though maybe 1/10th of a second.but hey faster is faster.

Mine was fairly quick for an I4. That was with a blown out cat and an intake. Where nolanspawn when you need him


He has this super modded i4 running like low-mid 15's. You look at his list of mods and tell me if you think its close to "basically stock" :E

I have a story about POS7's KLZE, Alter_Ego, myself and POS7 were all cruising to a meet, you all know A_E's numbers, I was rolling T Bird upgrade at the time, this Lexus....SC 320, 430, the one that basically shares the Supra motor?? dual exhaust, nice body kit, an overall nice car that appeared to have been done right, gets next to POS7 and then realizes that we are all together, instigates a race....I'm behind them and A-E behind me, they POS7 and the Lexus both drop gears and then start up again, POS7 completely SMOKED HIM, I had downshifted and was going through the gears (this was on the I-5 North to L.A) I slowed down at about 115-120....and POS7 was STILL SMOKING HIM.....then Alter_Ego flew by ALL OF US :lol:

Ok 15.2 stock.HAHAHAHAHA. 16.4 when she was in top shape...STOCK. BUT I have beaten a few cars that shouold have kicked my ass, I blame it on poor driving, or ragged out cars.

I was racing a Prelude 98. pretty ragged and a lot of extra weight, and was doing pretty fair and at 80 he pased me. ok, no big deal, well out of no where I hear this outrageouslyy loud roar and my friend Dave flys by me in his firehawk at like 125, pulls up next to the Lude and starts harrassing the hell out of the driver. Well the lude kicks down and takes off, Dave is doing 90 shifts from 3rd to 4th and white smoke comes off the tires. DAMN. needless to say he killed the lude, I have never been so glad to see him in all my life, it was freakin awesome.

but anyway im saying the ONLY way he could have beaten most of those cars is in his dreams.

I like this story. It reminds me of when I talk **** to people who talk bull**** about cars at pool halls, only I'm glad my friends are there for other reasons. :lol:

Hey man I will have to agree with the rest of the guys.I can't see a stock 4 running a 15.2 and a 15.4.If you ran a 15.2 stock than I wasted all of my time and money modding my car to just run a 15.4.It is alot harder to run a 15.4 in a 4 than you think.I will have to say your hole story of having a 15 second stock 4 is complete bs.

I dont know if this guy couldnt drive but I raced a 5speed I4 Mx6 in my moms car. he took off before me and I caught up and slowly passed him. I know he was trying because, black smoke was comeing out of the exhaust and the back end was dropin when he shifted. My moms got a 99 New Beetle automatic with the 2.slow. It ran a 18.2 at the track and thats with an CAI and cat-back............its an alright street car. 0-60 is when its pretty quick. Anything above 60mph its really slow and only makes noise
