Does anyone know of any Exotic car rental company's besides GTA Exotics and Affinity.

What have your experiances been with each?

I first heard of GTA Exotics a few years back when I was looking to rent a vehicle. I noticed GTA Exotics came up for pretty much everything I searched ex. Luxury Car Rentals in toronto

I also noticed they had many site re-designs over the years. They used to have really unique and friendly designs. Lately, it seems they have undergone a company restructure and are using templates for their site...
I am a suprised a company with Ferrari's and Lambourghinis would would use pre-made templates. Is GTA Exotics a reputable company?

I noticed they sell REPLICA car kits on their site...I am now presuming most of the cars on their fleet are replicas. I used to be an active member on their forum, they seem to of removed it and made the site gloomy and non user-friendly.

On the other hand I noticed Affinity Luxury Car Rentals have had the same site for many, many years.
They seem to make suddle changes and keep a "Corporate Image".
I also noticed that Affinity is now leading on google search terms, when it comes to car rentals.

Does this mean Affinity is a more reputable company then GTA Exotics, the only thing I don't like about Affinity is that they do not provide pricing on the vehicles.

I personally have only rented from Affinity. As I have seen and heard of many horror stories of rental experiances through GTA Exotics.

My experiance with Affinity was great. I have only dealt with the North York location.

Have any of you had any good/bad experiances with either of these companies, or do you know of any other companies which is worth mentioning.

Looking forward to seeing what you all have to say :).

worst customer service ever

This is not a reputable company at all.

The owner of this company is the most difficult business owner I have ever had to deal with. When I purchased a gift card that the recipient was unable to use, the owner then informed me that there was a "no refunds" policy. I informed him that non-disclosure of terms of the gift card at time of purchase was a violation of the Consumer Protection Act, and he said I was welcome to complain to anyone who would listen.

I also rented a motorcycle from this business that had tires in such poor condition that I was afraid to ride it. When I returned the bike in the exact same condition, the owner said his sales staff had under-charged me at the time of rental and upped the rate, making me pay the difference.

Overall a horrible experience with this business. Don't deal with this business owner, he places no importance on customer service. As soon as he has your money, you’ll be treated horribly. He may demand extra money because of a "billing error" upon returning the vehicle, as was my experience.

Retraction of Comments

I would like to issue a full retraction of my previous post. My comments were a reflection of my experience only, and do not necessarily provide an accurate prediction of future experiences by other customers.

This company may in fact be reputable in the community, and I am not qualified to provide an accurate comment on such matters.

My comments regarding the condition of vehicles is an opinion only. I am not a qualified or certified mechanic, and therefore my opinion on vehicle condition may not be accurate when compared to the opinion of a qualified mechanic or repair specialist.

I apologize to other forum members and ask that you do not let my previous comments influence your future purchase decisions.

^That's hilarious...what, did he offer to make things right if you retract your previous post?

Nope, he didn't. I'll have to take him to small claims over it. What a wonderful experience. I hope many more people get the chance to experience this level of customer service before the business mysteriously goes belly-up.

Just like NiceGuy, my comments are my experience and my opinion only.
BUT I definitely can believe his experience with this company. I paid for my boyfriend to do the track day, and one of the cars broke down while he was driving on the track. It took a month, and a lot effort on our part, to find out what they were doing with the deposit money and what had gone wrong with the car. At no time when they kept our deposit was any reason provided as to why the breakdown was the participants fault. Months later, we are still fighting to get a copy of the receipt for the money they kept, and a copy of the signed contract, which we legally have a right to.
Overall, my experience has found them to be unprofessional, non-communicative, and I feel that financially things are very questionable in this instance. Despite the contracts and customer rights, a company can take advantage of the fact that not everyone has the time and effort to go through small claims court for the sake of $1000, as the court process can cost them more than that if they end up losing, and will cost more than that if they get a lawyer.
I would never recommend this place to anyone.
