Got a new set of tyres today, Falken Azenis - they are apparently road capable track tyres.

Here's a pic...

Very slippery (silicone coated) to start with but I'll let youse know how they go.

The size I have is 215/45/17 and they cost (gasp) $375 inc each.

I'm aiming for 9 months or 15000km and 6 track days. I'm probably dreaming tho. Anyway, there's only one way to find out.

nice boots, ric. But they co$t a bit! My Yoko A-032Rs were only $200 each, mind you that is in 14" size. Couple that to some (very lightweight) OEM alloys for $100 (for all 4) and I gots me some cheap racing shoes...
