just curious as to if other owners of 1st generations have hella rattle coming from their trunk. i have no dynamat or anything but i still think the rattle is loud enough that dynamat won't help it completely.
It's probaley not your truck lid but more the trunk clasp or the tail lights. I would check both these out first. Sound deadening works great when used correctly. Other wise you will be wasting your money. If you have a place by you that sells factory type deadening it might work better for you and is alot cheaper.
i just got 2 orion xtr dvc 12"subwoofers.i pyt them in a sealed bow and running on my kenwood kac-846 4channel amp.i also installed a new alpine mrp-f356 4channel amp to power my mbquart rkb 130 5.25 speakers.
arent you underpowering yor subs, a little it sounds like it, do you have them bridged because that is the best way to run your subs for altimate performance, i have 2 12'' xpl kickers with a alpine v12 407 amp. tell me how it sounds, i hit 146 dp.
yes i do have my subs bridge on the kenwood, the orion's hit pretty hard but i still need more power, the kenwood will work for know until i get a moe pwerful amp like a rockford or ppi.
probly the zr360, it is awesome, its rated with the rockford fosgate 5 or 600, it would sound awesome man, i might actually get that one and sell my alpine
