ok so here it is... ive heard of people opening the screw on the back of the wastegate solenoid to raise boost... now is it just me or is this screw just about impossible to get to without removing alot of stuff? now that was plan B.
Plan A is in effect right now... this plan entailes releasing pressure on the line that runs to the wastegate.. now by releasing pressure am i just doing the job for the wastegate or am i really lieing to it and raising the boost? or do i need to restrict pressure to the wastegate? and if yes, should I use like a spray gun "diaphram" regulator, or just use something similar to a ball valve?
And last but not least... Im really not sure that I am doing all of this to the right line. the line that i am using comes out just after the turbo and goes to the (or what I believe is the solenoid) wastegate.. Its about a 1/4" line... so if someone has pics of their ghetto turbo controller or just can take a pic and point to the right line..
Thanks a bunch...
yes i did search and no i don't have a manual and yes i really am just that ghetto and cheap
