I just got my tax return and am going to put about 200 towards more boost. Is there any way to turn up factory boost settings safely. I heard one thread about "bleeding" the vacume hose (i think it was the vacume hose?) anyway just wanted to pick some of your mechanically inclined brains - as I know mine is not.

go to http://www.dawesdevices.com and get their $35 boost controller. Since you want to do it safely (which is smart), pick up a boost guage and an a/f guage for about $30-40 each. Set the controller to 12psi, and have fun .
