MEET IS SET FOR NOVEMBER 8TH
Track will be open from 8am - 9pm

Alright guys I think its time to put together a meet where the guys from Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri, as well as the guys from Austin, San Antonio, and Houston come down to Dallas where the real races take place. We discussed this last night at the meet in Oklahoma. The track is the Texas Motorplex located in Ennis, Tx.

Starting in November they are having Saturday test and tune days. I am unsure of what the time schedule will be, but I am sure its from around 10am-4pm. The date I think we should shoot for is November 8th. We could make a weekend out of it, just like the Kansas meet. This thread is basically a interest building thread, but we would need to make a decision soon so that arrangements could be made and people have time to ask off. Poor in your input.

The point of having it in Northern Texas is cuase there are people coming from Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Its more centralized that way.

We had the summer meet at the racetrack in SA ... and one not too long ago at a racetrack in Oklahoma.

All of those other Ennis meets have been local meets. (NTPOC)

And just remember Djlockjaw80 that when we had the statewide meet in San Antonio/Austin that not one person from Houston showed up. I do remember you had a viable excuse unless im mistaken. There were about 5 who up to the day we left said they were coming but we never saw them.

Alright latest official news from the track. The track will be open from 8am till 5pm. The lanes open at 9am, if you guys wanna meet up there at 9 then lets go for it. If some of you who are coming from a distance and come Friday night you can stay with me. I figure we will probably stay a good part of the day out there. That will give some of us hardcore guys a chance to make a lot of runs. Please give me some input on ideas of stuff to do afterwards.

8-5 isnt a bad running time. We plan to probably come back over to my place and do a BBQ. Here are the track fees:

$8 for Spectator
$15 for Racer

And if they allow the discount for people w/ student ID's

$5 for Spectator
$12 for Racer

The meet is officially CANCELLED. The Motorplex decided to close tomorrow becuase of the weather. They might change their minds early in the morning, but I doubt they will. We will just reschedule for another weekend.
