It was a sunny mid-summer day. I was driving home from another town on an overpass over Instersate 70 when I hit a red light. I heard a car pull up to my '94 LS. I glanced over to see the blue mass next to me and made eye contact with the driver. I had seen her around before, cooking, cleaning. She had a name, but I knew her only as Mom. I revved my 6 to let her know I was serious. Her car let out a lound roar that would scare a tiger. I knew this was going to be a one of a kind race as I went over the emblem on the side of her machine, "Ford Escort."
The light flashed from red to green and I let loose. I heard my competetor's 1.4 liter slam down for all it was worth. I was ahead all through first but I kept on hard. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th were all the same story. Even though she had a stick, she didn't stand a chance, the 6 was just too much to handle. I pulled away victorious, another kill under my belt.

LOL, my mom has a isuzu p/u with the 2.3L 4cyl. I could beat that truck from a 30 roll when im in 5th. 8D NO, NO, i can start in 2nd gear and still beat it. Whatever, i never race any family members, it just seems senseless to me. Even when my uncle wanted to race me in his modded LS1, nah i had to decline that.

Wait till she gets a ze swap it'll be a different story!!!
Haha, I don't think I will have to worry about that. I am pretty sure that thing would fall apart after about 85. It is probabally the worst car I have ever driven. It has like a 1.4 in it or somthing and it takes about ten miles to get it up to 80, which I am pretty sure is its top speed. It feels so unstable after 75. My family calls it the Porche because the handling is terrible, my dad says he likes it because its like driving a go kart, except with less horse power. Anyway, just thought I'd share this with you guys. My mom and I both got a laugh out of it.

They aren't too bad. You can get an older 150 for like $20k I believe. It is a goal of mine to own an airplane in the not-too-distant future. I am actually considering going to airplane design/mechanics, I am great at MS Flight Sim ;).
A viper srt-10 wouldn't be bad either. The new Motor Trend had a little booklet about all of Dodge's SRT modles and it says that the Viper pulls a 12.0 sec quarter. The Ram can pull a 13.2, I thought that seemed pretty fast for a truck...
