has anyone flow bench tested one or have information that could tell me the signal corelation to airflow. maybe someone has data logged their car any help would be appreciated.

well since you can't hook up to the factory ecu to get real-time parameters, i doubt that anyone has any data logs of air flow through the vaf.

also, by the time most ppl have the ability to log data(standalone ems), they're not using an airflow meter anymore.

i know that with obdII, you can log real time parameter data for pretty much any sensor, my truck (98 f-150 with the 4.2L v-6) flowed around 24-25 lbs/hr. at wot near redline

you could always get an Anemometer to measure the air being sucked in through the VAF. If where you work you have access to building engineers or HVAC people, they should have one. One of the engineers i work with has one...it's a little handheld wand with a hotwire.
