Well it looks like my O2 Sensor has finaly died, along with two of my valve cover gaskets. I know there are a lot of posts on these subjects, but I was wondering how much this usualy costs to fix (what I should expect) and about how many hours they will spend.

Thanks,
Alex

If you go to a shop, they are probably going to use a published hourly figure. You can get that from the shop. Parts for the gaskets are $20 for each V/C gasket, around $12 for each intake manifold gasket (need 2), and a few dollars for the two crush washers for the fuel line. I think it costs around $200 to change the rear gasket, with the front being considerably more.

You could call your dealer or shop and they should be able to tell you what it would cost.

If you're the least bit mechanically inclined, consider doing the front yourself. It's easy with a proper torque wrench. The rear is more difficult because of the wires and hoses involved, but it's simple in concept.
