I was thinking of croming my head cover. what do you guys think??????? I can get it done for free caus my dad works at a machine shop and they have a crome tank there.

I would get that done.. let us know how it would look.. if it comes out ok, you should get the two strut brackets done, the heat shield, and some other nuts, bolts.
